Moving house

Greetings from a soggy Lymington. I'm going to have to keep this one short as I am borrowing a computer, but wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted the messages and wished us well for our move. The address for the next couple of weeks in Totton, near Southampton, is 3, Downs Park Road, Eling, Southampton, SO40 9GL. We won't be there for that long and I will give you the new address when we move to more longer term digs. We're all well and I'm lookinh forward to having our own place, complete with TV, washing machine, phone, etc, which we don't have at the moment. Jon has started his new job today. I'll update you on that when I can. Take care and love to you all.

On the move again...

No matter how many times I do it, moving doesn't get any easier. This will be the fifth time I've moved in the last year.
And so it's ta ta Terrington and hello Hampshire, as Azara and I make the rather epic journey tomorrow with Papa who has kindly offered to drive us and a lot of our belongings down south. Nanna has helped us finish up most of the packing today and I managed to stave off a lot of the stress of the move by a fleeting but great weekend visit to Crosby with Azara, where we saw Auntie Kate for her belated birthday and stayed with Great Aunt Fairy and Uncle Dave. It was really nice to see Ellen, Si, Maz, Sam and Nanna Ruby as well.
The train journey across to Liverpool will be one of those memorable ones because of the rather delightful present Azara decided to bestow on me when we had just left Malton. Needless to say, I will always take spare clothes for myself as well as her in the future and I am quite glad that we had two chairs to ourselves.
Jon is already down south, having been busy sailing for the past few days and I'm looking forward to seeing him. Jon's friends Ian and Louise have kindly offered to let us stay in a cottage they have on the outskirts of Southampton as it's a few weeks before we can move into the place we have rented in Lymington. Jon starts his new job on Monday and it will be a huge relief for him to be back to work and it may mean that things are a little bit tidier where we're living as well.
It's going to be hard being away from Mum and Dad and Alex as we've had them so close by since Azara was born, but I'm hoping they'll come and visit soon and I am slightly anxious about not knowing anyone and about being by myself day in and day out, after having been used to having Jon around, but I'm sure I'll cope. In the meantime, I'm excited about being in a slightly larger community and hopefully being able to make friends with people our age and also finding people to run with in the area around the beautiful New Forest.
It might be some time before I get to post again, so love to you all. We'll keep you posted as to our whereabouts and news just as soon as we get settled.
