Three month update

Here's a picture I took at Mum and Dad's house this week. I know she looks a bit like a boy baby, but yet again this was an outfit we bought based on the predictions of the doctor in Peru...ho hum. Azara is lying on a blanket under her mobile, apparently not bored by it just yet....but I don't think this entertainment will last for very long.
Jon is down on the south coast, having had a job interview yesterday and we are home alone. For the past two nights I have been by myself with the baby and although it's been pretty trying - especially the epic crying episode yesterday which lasted nearly five hours, we've been okay. Tomorrow we are going on the train to London, where I have a job interview next Monday. So, by this weekend, we'll have done planes, trains and automobiles and hopefully it won't be too long before we can throw boats into that mix as well.
Azara is being very active and at night she has taken to trying to roll over in her cot. She hasn't quite managed the move from her back to her front yet, but I don't think it's far off. Also, she's cooing and gurgling away ever so much, which is quite fun although it's often tough to tell if she's happy or sad. Yesterday's crying fit may be a precursor to teething. I've been expecting that for a while, after Mum said that I teethed very early, and her cheeks do seems slightly red. Well, perhaps time to go as she's either chatting to the mobile or trying to get my attention.

  • Regarding the epic 5 hour crying episode of yesterday -- bet it was epic for the neighbours also!!!!
Important memo - always keep on the right side of your neighbours until offspring are at least 21 years old. Why 21 years, you ask? Well, hopefully they become more reliable in their behaviour by then! Oh yes, and they've usually stopped teething..............

  • Very cute photo indeed! She's lovely -- just like her Mum of course! Hope the job interview goes well on Monday -- we'll be thinking of you as we start unpacking all our boxes and decide where to put all those little 'penny pinchers' (remember them? well, we've still got hundreds to give away). Planning a housewarming party sometime soon -- but it won't be the same without you, Jon and baby Bean.

    Love from us both,

    L & H xxx
